Blue waters - the Andaman sea

Another highlight of our trip was the day spent in the Andaman sea. We engaged in some water activities on Bharatpur beach. I'm not a fan of motorized activities in the sea (especially jet skis/motor boats)- but the sea looked rough in the morning and we weren't sure if we would be able to get in at all. The glass bottom boat ride turned out to be a disappointment because the visibility was poor in the water at the time. Hence we gave in to the boys' wishes to jet-ski. Fortunately, the day started to get better and we went over to the waters on the other side of the island (towards Laxmanpur beach) where the sea was calm and crystal clear. Here, we had the most beautiful time in the sea swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. The sea was about 40 feet deep at this point. Saurabh and I took turns diving with the instructor. The kids swam in the sea and Kabir felt proud of his first snorkeling and swimming experience in the sea. Anu hesitated to get into the water at first, but once he got in he didn't want to leave.  Coming up - some gorgeous videos of the dives.
